If we consider that poser is used not in the sense of "to install" (a mechanical part) but as it is used in poser ses vacances then this could refer to setting up a safety zone around the evaporator. Why it should be a square safety zone rather than a round one, I don't know, but then the Japanese don't have round eyes, do they!
Note that this is a pure guess, but I think it makes sense. If they are making the valves automatic, it must be because they don't want to have people getting up close to operate them. Maybe the carré is a square-box-like enclosure around the evaporator to keep people at a distance.
