neutral  David Sirett: The problem with Annie's questions is that the French is terrible, even if grammatically correct! A French person wouldn't (!) say "viendriez-vous ici, svp?" for "Would you come here, please?".

  -> As a French native speaker, I have to disagree with you there. In French Canada at least, this is a perfectly ok sentence if you are speaking to someone older, or to someone you don't know very well.
