English translation:Part of reference/registration identifying codes.
Explanation:
Roseanne,

This might not be of much help to you, but dentists and doctors in France have the codes
CAB.
CONV.
Z. ISD
IK
(followed by a couple of figures) after their name and address and their registration number.

I suspect that
- "CAB" is for "cabinet" (surgery - the place). In the case of both my own doctor and dentist, they have entered "0" here. They each have just one surgery.
- "CONV." is for "convention" the type of status under which they operate with regard to the state system.
- As for the last two I have no idea at all.

In any event, I don't think you should worry about tanslating them. I would leave them as is.

Thanks Nikki - that's just what I ended up doing, but can't help being a perfectionist!
