French term or phrase:photo prévention
This is an item on an invoice from an optical store in Quebec (amt. is $15.00) I have searched every database I have, and googled it, but I can't find it, and am not quite sure what it is. The item above it is the fee for the optical exam. I wish I could provide more context, but there isn't any. Any help would be much appreciated!
I found a number for the optical store, and called. They explained that this is a picture of the eye used for screening for disease and infection.

some sort of light/sun block - eg. lens
Explanation: This is just a guess, but I read "photo" in this context as "light" and so "photo prévention" as a description of some sort of light-blocking item, such as clip-on sunglass spectacle lens. A lead to follow up perhaps.

Asker: Hi Melissa
Thanks so much for trying to help. I was thinking the same thing, but I ended up finding a phone number for the optical store, and they explained that it was actually a picture of the eye used to screen for disease and infection. Who knew? Thanks again!
