French term or phrase: fiche d'accompagnement de cadavre
This is a police report about a fatal accident on the tracks of a Swiss train station. One of the attachments to the report is called "fiche d'accompagnement de cadavre." The meaning is clear but I'm struggling to come up with an Eng. equivalent. TIA

neutral  B D Finch: Surely the police medical examiner and the coroner are not alternatives but quite different authorities? http://www.answers.com/topic/coroner indicates that, in the US too, the medical examiner or coroner is a judicial, rather than police position.
