see further Explanation: a "carreau" is when your bowl hits directly one of your opponents' bowl, chasing it away from the jack (small ball like a golf ball) the "but" is this jack. "sucer le but is not common it's a bowl players' term, it means that you try to get the closer you can to the jack, as if you were attracted by this white ball!! hope it helps |
