French term or phrase: service d'accueil
I know this has come up the other way round, to translate the English term "meet and greet", but that term doesn't seem right in my context.

Context is an agreement between a shopping centre and a firm that provides background music. This is in the recitals.

Thanks, I used "a welcoming environment" - in fact it's not just shops but a conference centre so needed something general.

neutral  ormiston: Hi Rebeccas - reading this cold it sounded to me like some sort of caterering outfit! Sorry Rebecca, no offence intended! Well first I am sure in this context they are called shoppers and that 'service' means the provision of a good mall ambience

Explanation:
this covers the ambient music (& lighting) used to enhance the shopping experience / entice shoppers.
Like Sharon I would leave 'service' out until it appears later when they mention the company providing it.
