French term or phrase: ponté
Hi,

Can anybody help me understand the sentences below, and put 'ponté' in the right perspective?

Context:

The text is about the technical specifications of a cap for tubes used in cosmetics/pharmaceuticals.

The exact sentences are as follows:

Coloration:

I am finding it difficult to see what object or part of an object is 'ponté' referring to...

Thank you for your timely help.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks Kashew. I just had a brainwave thanks to your suggestion... In the context of this text, I think it is the thin plastic strip securing the base of the cap to the covering flap of the cap. Thank you so much.
