In a description of a Museum of Mediterranean cultures, talking about a display of curios brought back from travel. Context: "Aux mouvements qui conduisent au-delà du monde connu répondent les voyages vers les lieux de mémoires, d’émerveillement et de villégiature : **vedutte, vues d’optiques** et installations contemporaines… captent les lumières d'un monde partagé entre ciel et eau et facilite l’évasion." Could "vedutte" be a misprint? and what does "vues d'optiques" mean, please? Thanks for any help!

vedute (not vedutte) is the plural of the italian word veduta.
Canaletto etc. under the German version.
