French term or phrase: French handwriting
I need help deciphering an address on a handwritten letter. Usually I am able to get these using the zip code and a search engine, but I'm stumped with this one.

Here is the address as best I can read it:

Name (legible)
"Pech Deluet"
46090 Flaujou Poufols
Jeff Whittaker
United States
Local time: 14:41
English translation:pech fluet 46090 Flaujac Poujols
Explanation:
Not quite sure about the "fluet". I saw a "Pech Gros" in Flaujac Poujols (this one is absolutely sure). This must be a "lieu dit" too small to be a town and French town's name are like that. When there's a XX le grand there's a XX le petit, the same for le haut and le bas. Here there's le Gros so I think there might a le fluet. But if in the address you just write Pech 46090 Flaujac Poujols the letter will get there. In these little towns everybody knows anybody 50 miles around.

Here is a site that always helps you with postal codes.

Explanation:
Try adjusting your language settings to include Flemish, in case this is close to the Belgian border.

Flaujac Poujols

Explanation:
The commune of FLAUJAC-POUJOLS is in the French department LOT, Midi-Pyrénées – which is quite some distance form the Belgian border !

You can always find out the dept. if you have the first two figures of the postcode as they indicate the dept n°.

As for 'Pech Deluet', it is no doubt the name of a 'lieu dit' a place name given in country areas (where many roads have no name, just a number, and the houses are not numbered either. One of teh LD I found in Flaujac Poujols was PECH GROS (see below). The one you are lookign for may be so small that it appears nowhere on the web.
