Aéronautique Navale

English translation: US: Naval Aviation or Naval Air UK: Fleet Air Arm.

I suppose it would be OK to leave this in French, but does anyone know if there is an official or standard translation for this branch of the French military.

Explanation:
US and UK have important differences. The US Navy's aviation component is part of the Navy and operates from land as well as ships. The RAF operates the British Fleet Air Arm, including the afloat component.
I would use "French Naval Air" or "French Fleet Air Arm" depending on your target readership.
