French to English translations [Non-PRO]
French term or phrase: maillage & RMI
From a game simulation test document:
"Le maillage est métrique (pas de RMI)."
Maillage seems to mean grid or networking ??
ANd RMI ???
English translation:grid layout; remote method invocation
"The grid layout is metric (there is no RMI)."
The technique known as "remote method invocation" appears in an article entitled "Integrating web, desktop, enterprise and military simulation technologies to enable world-wide scalable televirtual environments," at the first web site below, and a network-based application is described ("...a technology known as remote method invocation (RMI)") at the second site.
