French term or phrase: jours glissants
I am translating a Power Point presentation on backup management. The title of the slide is "Backup Plan" the bulleted list underneath contains the following:
*sur 28 jours glissants pour les données

I'm not quite sure how to translate "glissants" in this context. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Both answers really helped. I decided to go with 28-day period because the term "retention period" or "retention cycle" is used when talking about data backup. Thanks very much to both of you.
