I imagine this is the top bit of the Trias rock formation, but I don't know what to call it. Context follows, thanking you all very kindly in advance,

neutral  Catharine Cellier-Smart: I'm not an expert but Trias is normally Triassic in English. (Also, reference link is illegible for me).
