| | Clarification request(s) and responseTamara Salvio: 8:37am Oct 4, 2005: Well, thanks for the link; I'm afraid it's not helpful though since I did do a Kudoz search (derusher which gave 0 results) and I find that the entries you've linked me to are not necessarily applicable to a digital photography context - they apply to film, and as I mentioned in my explanation, I was not at a loss for the meaning of the word in the film context. It seems to me it's been loosely borrowed and applied to a photography context where the classic term was always " developing proofs". My question was - and remains - is there a more current term used in digital photography/photoshop for developing proofs, since they are not 'developed' at all anymore, but rather just downloaded to the computer. Does anyone really say they've "downloaded their first views"? If they do, I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who can confirm.
