French to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts) / fashion and other portfolios | | French term or phrase: contre les tirages | Hi all,
This is a portfolio administration website and the sentence is:
Vous pouvez indiquer vos disponibilités (Portrait, Mode, Glamour, Lingerie, Nu artistique) et si vous acceptez de poser contre les tirages.
I'm familiar with the basic translations of 'tirage' but am not sure what this little phrase means.

Sandra Petch: 10:36am Mar 22, 2006: I see it as "translator's block". Last week I emailed a client asking them to explain a sentence then when I woke up the next day it seemed totally obvious (and I felt a complete fool!). -
