French to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts) / comic books | | French term or phrase: gaufrier | | About a book by Tori Miki, "un gaufrier de neuf cases muettes", or "a XXX of nine panels/frames without text." I completely understand the metaphor of the waffle iron and its application to the page of a comic book, but I wonder whether it is used in English. I might be slightly familiar language, or comics jargon. Thanks for any leads and/or suggestions! |
