Hi Chris, it's a device to test for visual defects (occupational health) and the different tests are printed onto this film, which scrolls around in a cylinder for the patient to view. But I think Anthony's suggestion is probably the correct term. Thanks

What exactly is meant by a "vision screener", and how is the printed negative used to test it?

My impression is that the term "photo-imprimé" is generally used to mean "photographic quality". My confidence level is low so I have not offered an answer but would suggest "photographic quality film".
