French to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts) / telescopes | | French term or phrase: filetages | 2 filetages fournis
this refers to a telescopic tripod.
is it thread or threading? |
| | | English translation:thread | Explanation: I think here it is 'thread' — it seems to me they are saying that it "comes complete with two different threads"
I don't know about telescopes, but camera tripods usually use either a ¼" Whitworth thread, or a 3/8" Whitworth one — sometimes they are supplied with 2 different screws, or at least, a thread adaptor between the two diameters.

Oh, perhaps you didn't mean a tripod for a telescope, but just a tripod (maybe photographic, then?) that happens to have telescopic legs?
If it is photographic, then I'm even more sure of my answer! |
