French term or phrase: Référentiel
Good morning,

This is for a patent.

"l'invention concerne, selon un premier de ses aspects, un procédé d'identification d'une caractéristique de prise de vue d'une image numérique composée de pixels et orientée dans un référentiel présentant au moins un axe de référence."

I found repository in GDT but don’t think it fits here
Thank you in advance

coordinate system
Explanation:
Although "repère" is usually used for coordinate system this seems to be the meaning here. "Referential" is uniquely French.

disagree  xxxmediamatrix: 'referential' is not used this way in English, and your explanation is incorrect.// Thanks for confirming my earlier comment :) Your webref uses referential as an adjective, not as a noun as per the French ST.

-> Thanks. Reference frame works too, and may be better here.

agree  xxxmediamatrix: coordinate system - I'd not use 'reference frame' since the sentence continues with 'présentant au moins un axe de référence' which would end up somewhat tautological.
