French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts) | | French term or phrase: piqué natif | I am translating a contract in which a company is getting an agency to produce visuals of the company's products for an advertising campaign.
In the appendix there is a document entitled "cahier des charges techniques"
Under the heading "prises de vues" it says: "Les shoots produits numériques doivent être capturés sur une base minimale de 3500 x 4700 pxl avec un piqué natif."
The only clue I have so far about how to translate "avec un piqué natif" is grand dictionnaire's explanation of "piqué": "Terme familier évoquant la netteté de l'image." http://www.granddictionnaire.com/BTML/FRA/r_Motclef/index800...
which makes me think that "piqué" might be "clarity"
