Document is about graphic design for a website. In the following, would you translate 'charte graphique' simply as 'graphic design' or would there be another term here? Is there such a thing as a 'graphic plan' in terms of graphic design?

Well - I went all around the houses on this one. What the client wanted in the end, it turned out, was 'graphic identity' - which I understand to be pretty similar to 'graphic theme'. It was actually open to a very wide interpretation within the context, I decided - depending on one's past experience of such things. Thanks!

design guidelines of course would include a style sheet..but a style sheet is more limited in scope...fonts etc

it's "graphics charter"


Explanation:
we went through this with a client - it's the cahier des charges for graphics that defines things like 'no other objects within 3 cm of the brand logo', the tier-system for powerpoint presentations, etc etc.
