French to English translations [Non-PRO] Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature
French term or phrase:en imitation en ratchoucoum
Hi and thanks for your attention!
I have a literary text from the beginning of the 20th century. I believe it makes reference to a piece of furniture, but I don't know what this "ratchoucoum" is about
The possibility of a somehow slang adaptation seems good to me... There's no context apart from a piece of furniture he's talking about. After a pause, he says it's an "imitation en ratchoucoum". I could not make sense of it; and Google has no entry with that word.
Thanks a lot for all your comments, really!
