| | A mystery/detective sstory where God's words run from... | Explanation: The novel which is talked about is 'La Promesse de l'Ange'. I gather it's a bit similar to Saramago's 'The History of the Siege of Lisbon' in that it explores the past and present through their similarities. I don't think 'treasure hunt' or anything like that is appropriate as the story focusses on an archeologist who is fascinated by appearances from a decapitated monk and decides to, somehow, investigate the Mont-Saint-Michel. It is also a bit similar to detective and mystery novels in that it is really about what happened to the monk.
