"La plaquette est disponible en édition cartonnée"
A previous KudoZ drew answers of "card" and "stiff paper". I can't see a leaflet being printed on card. Does that leave me with stiff paper?
For what it's worth, some interesting print jargon here

Many thanks (and please don't shout at me if there is a really obvious answer!). |

Sandra Petch: 8:18am May 4, 2007: It's in a memo to staff - informing them that the brochure is now available "en édition cartonnée". In this context, I don't think a very technical term is needed.
I tend to agree with Melzie that "hardback" would relate more to a book.
I have no idea if it's just the cover that's "cartonnée" or even if there is a cover. I'll ask! Sandra Petch: 8:24am May 4, 2007: It's just the cover - So I'm going with "hard cover". Thanks everyone for your time and trouble.
