French to English translations [PRO] Printing & Publishing | | French term or phrase: pelliculé mat | Hello
The following comes from a tender regulations document. This extract deals with printing instructions for the cover of the doc that is to be tendered for. I am translating "papier couché" as coated paper, can't quite understand whether "pelliculé mat" is a separate thing or part of the cover, maybe they've missed off an "et"
thanks
Anne

| | Cover: four colour printing on 300g matt coated paper. | Explanation: mat pelliculé is in fact 'matt (as opposed to gloss) coated.' In other words the paper is a high quality book printing matt coated cartidge paper. 300g is a cover thickness.

As it's a cover you can add laminated to explain it's a protective coating. Four colour printing on 300g matt coated paper with matt laminate. |
