French to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Printing & Publishing | | French term or phrase: placard d'épreuve | I'm having difficulty translating "placards d'épreuves". It's from a text about an exhibition on the Académie Francaise over the years.
"La vie académique et son dictionnaire sont évoqués à travers (...) les placards d’épreuves du Dictionnaire de la langue française d’Emile Littré."
From what I understand it is something to do with notices about (publishing) proofs but I can't really work it out. Any help much appreciated! |
