Thanks to everyone for their help, interesting discussion, colour chart / reference sheet seems the best option in the circumstances. 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
not a specific term, sorry - I just meant that SJLD's reference makes clear that it's called a triptyque because it has three parts ("standard", BAT, and colour blocks).
and the context given does not make it clear whether or not this is specifically a press proof; as your ref makes clear, often nowadays a separately-produced proof is used – although as used in SJLD's ref the "triptyque" does include the BAT, which could well be the signed-off press proof.
Good research and a useful glossary to bookmark. However, what is a "tripartite press proof"? Do you mean a"colour separation proof". The BAT is, according to the reference, a proof signed as approved, which sounds like a final proof, but the reference also says that the triptyque de couleurs is only valid for the colours.
This agrees with Martin's interpretation - except as well as the reference sheet (standard) there is also the final proof (BAT) and a tonal value "sheet".
I think this refers to the colorimetric reference sheet made - and approved - at the beginning of a press run. Especially in 3-/4-/5-colour printing, it's essential to monitor the press so that the colour doesn't drift. If the client feels it has, then reference is made to the approved colour proof.
By the way, what does "Elles" refer back to?

A triptych is a three sided, usually ceramic sculpting or other artistic offering, often found in churches. It seems that each side is differently coloured in your case.
