French term or phrase: expertise psychiatrique sur dossier
"sur dossier"? Usually an étude sur dossier is a "paper review" but in this case they're writing a psychiatric assessment without meeting the patient, ie just based on facts on file. Does anyone have the appropriate English equivalent for this? Unfortunately that's all the context I have.. the authors are medico-legal experts... Un gros merci!!
