Psychology / Emotional states

This is a personality profile based on a numerology report, and not a psychiatric report! How can I translate this without using terms such as "bipolar" and "manic" etc, etc, and keep a neutral tone, I want to avoid any connotations of "mental illness"!!

disagree  DouglasCarnall: Cyclothymie [Cyclothymia] is very definitely associated with short term moods, not enduring personality

agree  DouglasCarnall: This is exactly what cyclothymia is, and avoids the use of a savant term if, in your opinion, this would be an error in register in the translation required.
