Real Estate / Expertise immobiliere
French term or phrase: bulle immobilière
La bulle immobilière anglaise qui est, pour partie, à l’origine de la flambée des prix, menace, elle aussi, d’exploser et d’entrainer avec elle une crise majeure et une sérieuse récession.

Merci.

English translation:housing bubble
Explanation:
As it involves an English (British?) context, I wouldn't go for 'real estate' as this is a specifically American term. Unless, that is, you know your readership will be American.

'Property bubble' is also possible, but probably not as clear.

And thanks to you all.
Notes to answerer
Asker: Right Angela, I already used "property" everywhere in the document, instead of real estate.

real estate bubble

Explanation:
It's all the talk here, esp. where I live. Real estate prices have skyrocketed, and a lot of people are concerned that the bottom is about to drop out...

I've also seen "property bubble" or "housing bubble"...if your context is the UK one of these could work better...

disagree  Glen McCulley: except that 'real-estate bubble' is distinct from 'housing bubble' which covers the UK residential market the text is talking about
14 mins

neutral  Angela Dickson: fair enough that you would immediately think of 'real estate' as that is your own term for this concept - it's not the only one, though.

-> That's also what happens when you check the board while making breakfast for the kids - I missed the obvious "anglaise" in the source text...

agree  Glen McCulley: in the UK we call it the housing/property BOOM (news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/2742245.stm) and this is the best all-round answer
11 mins

agree  Philip Watterson: absolutely - boom is the UK expression, and then if you want to talk about "bursting", you will have to mention a bubble later in the sentence

boom in house prices

Explanation:
another apparently easy question but which has generated several answers.
I feel the term above has the most natural ring to it for a UK readership.
"housing prices"??? I don't think so....
