English translation: pecuniary advantage

French term or phrase: valeurs
"Le MANDATAIRE s’interdit de recevoir des acquéreurs toute somme d’argent, effets ou valeurs." This is again from an agency agreement with an estate agent. I presume it means securities, but I thought it was a strange thing to specify. Is it this or is there another meaning? I saw one proz ansewer referring to cah equivalents. thanks.

-> The examples I gave were from contractual agreements. However, "any value whatsoever" is also used.

personal effects and valuables

Explanation:
Hello,

It could be that "valeurs" is referring to valuables.

effets et valeurs = personal effects and valuables?

I hope this helps.
