French to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Real Estate | | French term or phrase: acte de base / acte reçu | From a Belgian property sale deed
Is it simply deed received (if so, why received?) and basic deed (how is this different from the final deed?)
Help appreciated. |

| | it's a deed with a description and entire historical background of the property to be sold | Explanation: This is 100% Belgian-it is the major document that is given to each new owner of the property. It contains all the specifications about the property, dates, previous owners etc. It must be presented to the Notary and is then given to the new owners. No property can be sold without this.

FWIW in (Be) Dutch it\'s called a basisakte. And not one of my Belgian dicos has made any attempt to translate it!!

Perhaps this is only for appartments (co-propriété) but since that\'s all I\'ve ever lived in here, I assumed it was for all property (maybe there isn\'t one for houses?)
