French term or phrase: Meuble surgelés tête de gon
From a list of "cold" equipment in an insurance claim survey report for fire damage to a department store. The purchase cost was 4,000 euros. I suspect that "tête de gon" defines the physical position of the deep-freeze.

Any help appreciated. Here is more of the list:

Meuble surgelés tête de gon - BONNET –
Meuble boucherie Trad - BONNET –
Bac surgelés bonnet - MERIDA –
Rayonnage chambre froide - TOURNUS –

agree  Amy Cheshire: That's what I would call it.

-> Thanks Amy. I think this is the usual term.

agree  Tony M: Or possibly 'frozen food (display) cabinet' — I think 'cabinet' is more commonly used in the retail industry / Fair enough, I didn't realize it was used quite so specifically as that...

-> Thanks, Tony. Yes, cabinet is used in retail, but means an upright unit, which you don't often see at the end of freezer aisles in France. It's usually a low unit.

agree  David Goward: "gondola end" is also used for "tête de gondole".
