This is a type of desk used by a car manufacturer's customer advisers. I think I can visualise what it is but can't seem to find a reference in English. Does the term "debout" clarify the type of desk concerned?

Whether "tall" is required will depend much on where the term is encountered. If it's a sign in the showroom, then no, you don't need it. But if it's in a catalogue of furniture for car salesrooms and parts stores, or in a designer's proposal for the above, then you probably do.
