French term or phrase: à la demande de première présentation
I am not sure what this means and have never come across it before. I think it may refer to the nominated representation of the parties but am not sure and would appreciate the views of others.
Here is the context: "Toute notification, approbation, acceptation ou autre communication prévue ou autorisée par le Contrat devra être faite par lettre recommandée avec demande d'avis de réception, affranchissement payé, ou remise en mains propres contre décharge, aux adresses figurant en tête du Contrat ou à toute autre adresse qui aurait été notifiée par une Partie à l'autre Partie. Elle sera réputée avoir été faite *à la demande de première présentation*."

My suggestion is somewhat ambiguous, but I think the French is also somewhat ambiguous.
