French term or phrase: démarche de génération d'anticipation et d'innovation
From a consulting company's presentation of its partnerships with major companies and how it helps them to prepare for the future:

The following comes under the "Energy" heading:

Accompagnement d’un grand industriel de l’énergie dans sa "démarche de génération d’anticipation et d’innovation "

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

English translation:forward-looking strategy to drive innovation
Explanation:
Just another take...

The problem I see is that "génération d'anticipation" is quite abstract. Not sure how one generates anticipation, although seriously I guess they mean whipping up excitement about whatever they're doing. Admittedly, this rendering changes the exact meaning somewhat, but might be okay in some contexts.

Another possibility "strategy to spur/spark/grab/pique interest and drive innovation".

step towards innovation and foresight

Explanation:
Hello,

Literally, they are saying "step for generating foresight and innovation." I would not translate "generation" into English as it'd be clearly implied by my translation above.

foresight = ability to plan the future/foresee things

I hope this helps.
