The above is a measure suggested for dealing with problems with a hot water loop system. I think "manchettes témoins" are some kind of monitoring device but would be grateful for ideas.

I suspect these are small plastic sleeves which slip over the wire or pipe - usually colour coded and/or numbered. The boucle has an inlet and outlet, and therefore marked as such.
