L’habitabilité ne se joue pas que sur le pont : pour augmenter l’espace intérieur, une mezzanine a été conçue.

I'm having difficulty getting my head round this one.
I keep looking at it and my mind seems to be blank - translator's block I think!
Any help would be appreciated.

Explanation:
There's only so much you can to do on deck to increase living space which is why we've added a mezzanine to the design

the binnacle is limited on the deck


Explanation:
The dwelling place or space on a boat is named the binnacle. In a dictionary, I found that binnacle in English is in nautical language the equivalent for French habitacle.

  -> ...and for dwelling-place. Larousse, Dictionaire moderne francais-anglais/anglais-francais, Marguerite-Marie DUBOIS, Paris, 1960. In my dict. En-Ro, of Romanian Academy, 1974, binnacle it is habitacle and also the compass support.
