Explanation:
In this context I think "chantier" means "project", as it often does, not the site or location at which the project is to be built.

In opposition to "salle", I think "plateforme" refers to outdoor facilities, hence "sports field" (could be a running track, long-jump runways, pétanque area, skateboard area, etc.).

Or change it to "outdoor and indoor sports facilities".
