I just thought that - depending on your context - could they not perhaps also mean training that is "appropriate" or "relative" to the job in question; in other words, training that "qualifies" for the job?

Hi Adjoa,

You may want to check with your client as to whether this implies that some sort of diploma is awarded. I've seen "qualifiante" used to imply that the training in question provides either a diploma or an equivalency (which of course then qualifies you for whatever position...).
