whole paragraph reads:
"Il est temps d’envisager un congrès, qui sera – soyons-en sûres un lieu d’expressions, de réflexions, de débats, peut-être aussi de différences, voire de divergences – afin d’envisager quelques-uns des problèmes politiques et sociaux du monde tel qu’il est devenu à partir de la question des femmes et avec leurs analyses : que veut dire à l’heure de la mondialisation “égalité des sexes” et “liberté des femmes” ? Quelle traduction de mots d’ordre anciens – exemple : “notre corps nous appartient” - dans une division internationale et sexuée du travail, travail de production et de reproduction ? Hi Louise,
You need to break the sentence up differently, I think: "Que sont devenues nos conquêtes" and "entre marchandisation triomphante et retour du religieux".
For it to sound natural in EN, you may have to turn it around. I would suggest something like:
"Amongst rampant consumerism and the return to religious values, what has become/what is left of our victories?"
You might even go further and begin with something like "In today's/contemporary society, amongst rampant consumerism...?"
