Si Ferrari avait fait un doublé au Grand Prix de France, et que nos partenaires [c'est à dire, les équipes Michelin] s’étaient classés derrière, après Indy, cela n’aurait pas été glorieux…

Ici ça veut dire terminer premier et deuxième en France, ou ça veut dire faire une deuxième victoire consecutive? (C'est Ferrari qui a gagné la course précédente, le tristement célèbre Grand Prix des Etats-Unis.)

I suppose you could say \'wiped the board\' since everyone knows there are only ever two cars of one make in F1 races
