This is a video script giving the advantages of different types of saddles. The woman mentions that she goes over very varied terrain, then:
"On est souvent sur des terrains dénivelés, donc contre-haut, countrebas, c'est une selle qui vous maintient légèrement en arrière."
I was thinking of using "drop jump" for "contrebas" but I'm not sure about "contre-haut".

They are called drop fences for both 'contre-haut' and contre-bas'.
