This is from a winter sports equipment handbook.

The edges of your snowboard "assurent l'efficacité de vos trajectoires"!

The success of your manoeuvres? The efficiency of your steering? That you maintain your course effectively?This just seems to be one of those expressions that we don't quite use in English - but I must be missing something!

Asker: I did like this. However, I may have confused things a bit, as the sport is snowboarding related, but not actual snowboarding. (I can't say more for confidentiality reasons.)

agree  Amy Williams: Definitely. I worry about asker's use of "trajectories". You very rarely go 100% straight on a snowboard in any case, so in effect you're making turns all the time.
