French term or phrase: faire une grappe dans l'eau
From a training course in emergency procedures for flight crew:

Effectuer de piscine en tractant une personne, faire le retour en inversant les rôles. Faire une grappe dans l’eau.

Totally unsporty, un-first-aid person here. Does this just mean bringing everybody together in a group in the water?

As a grappe is a bunch I woul think that this would mean that those in the water must stay together.
