French term or phrase: pêche au broumé en dérive
Hello all,
This comes from weekly summer agenda for a seaside town in the South of France. I'm not sure about the translation of pêche au broumé en dérive. I think broumé is some sort of bait, would "drift bait fishing" be correct?

chum fishing while drifting
Explanation:
"Chumming
Chumming is most often done from a fixed position, such as an anchored boat, but chum may also be utilized in nearshore areas by a bank-, beach-, or pier-bound angler, and may be used while drifting in a boat. It is not employed when trolling but may be used to attract fish into casting range for both lure and bait presentations, although most chumming is coincidental with the offering of hooked bait. "

"chum : cut or ground bait dumped into the water to attract fish to the area where one is fishing. "
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/chum

"Chum fishing
Chum is mostly used when anchored, and sometimes when drifting, but almost never employed for trolling. The use of chum is an integral part of many types of saltwater fishing. It is a small element of most freshwater fishing in North America, but an important one for certain species, in certain locations, and with some presentation methods, and is more popular in other parts of the world. In North America, the use of chum in freshwater is illegal in some localities, and a freshwater angler who wishes to use any type of chum should check on this, as well as what foods or baits are defined by the regulating agency as chum.
