French term or phrase:Vestiaires levée de rideau
These are tender documents for the new Marseille Velodrome. This section lists the types of areas it will have. One of the areas is “Vestiaires levée de rideau”.
I know what all words mean but I can’t work out what they mean together as a phrase. Can you help? :-)

Explanation: Life's too short, alas, to read all 158 pages of the IAAF web-doc referenced below, but it quite possibly refers to changing rooms used by athletes while waiting to perform (as distinct from those used later when they are hot and sweaty) and those used later still prior to appearing refreshed before the TV camaras.

...we sometimes have special dressing rooms immediately adjacent to the stage, for people who have to do quick changes and may not have time to travel the often long distance to their own 'proper' dressing room.
Something taking place 'at the last minute' might be said to be taking place "as the curtain goes up", so I wonder if perhaps these are some kind of special changing rooms very close to the arena?
Just a thought, I have no actual specific knowledge of this term in use.
Thanks Wendy. There's not actually a lot more relevant context. Yes it's referring to 'changing rooms' or 'dressing rooms. What I'm having trouble with is the relevance of "levée de rideau". The stadium will host sports matches as well as concerts, comedy evenings, cultural events, etc. There's already a separate section that talks about the changing facilties for players, actors, musicians, etc. I don't have a problem with language, I'm just having trouble working out what this actually refers to. :-)
