using the Internet for paperless documents; robot mailing machine/robot mailer

Explanation:
Termium gives *dematerialization* as the translation of *dématérialisation*, in the context of the stock exchange and investment. Here is the French explanation of this term:

French:Stock Exchange
Investment

In the context of documents, Termium uses *paperless*, which should fit the Internet document context very nicely.

Here is an excerpt from a Swiss site marketing a *machine de mise sous pli*, which includes the English equivalent term:

Document transmittal through the Internet; Robot mailer.

Explanation:
They are saying "dematerialization of documents" but that is using big technical words to mean the transmittal of documents. When a document is transmitted it is digitized into bits of information, and during this small fraction of time the document does not exist. When it is received it is reassembled by the receiving computer so that it shows up again as the original document.
Unless they are emphasizing this technicality, I think that the correct statement should be just "document transmittal"
