Would 'research labs' fit your context Explanation: Research laboratories may be another way to emphasise that analysis of some sort goes on there!!! What do you think?? |

analytical laboratories Explanation: is the closest English phrase. Analytical labs are a specific type of facility -- sometimes a subset of large research labs, and sometimes separate from them. In the latter case, the analytical labsare the ones to which research chemists (and other researchers) send their findings for analysis. |

Analysis laboratory Explanation: The expression "analytical laboratory" is perfectly correct. I suggest this one as equally good, especially if you define what kind of analysis the lab in question specialises in. For instance, you will find a "Lubricant Analysis Laboratory", a "Materials Analysis Laboratory ", "Coal Analysis Laboratory", etc. NASA has a "Sampling & Analysis Laboratory" (http://www-lo.ksc.nasa.gov/services/sampling-analysis/) Chose the expression you feel most comfortable with, and you're all set! |

laboratories Explanation: just to put in my two cents. This is what my neighbour, who works in a laboratoire d'analyse calls her place of work in English. Regards Paola L M |
